How long does the setup process take?

The initial setup typically takes about 10-15 minutes. This includes unboxing, connecting your device, installing Ledger Live, and configuring your device with a PIN and recovery phrase.

What if I lose my recovery phrase?

Your recovery phrase is the only way to restore access to your cryptocurrencies if your device is lost, stolen, or damaged. We strongly recommend storing it in a secure location and never sharing it with anyone. Ledger cannot recover lost recovery phrases.

Which cryptocurrencies are supported?

Ledger devices support over 1,500 cryptocurrencies and tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and all ERC-20 tokens. New assets are regularly added through firmware updates to the Ledger Live application.

Is my device secure right out of the box?

Yes, Ledger devices are secure when you receive them. However, you must complete the setup process, including setting a PIN and writing down your recovery phrase, to ensure your device is properly secured and ready to protect your assets.
